RI Youth Lacrosse League (RIYLL) Directors, Coaches, and Parents,
Here are details regarding our RIYLL playoffs for Boys & Girls grades 5-8:

6 teams from each division will make the playoffs.

Teams seeded 1 and 2 in their division will receive a first-round bye. Teams seeded 3-6 will play a quarterfinal round the week of June 13. Quarterfinal games will take place at the higher seeded teams' home field unless otherwise agreed upon.

The semi-finals will be played at URI on Saturday June 18th at TBD. The Championship will be played on Sunday June 19th at TBD at URI

We will discuss the 5/6 girls’ group with the collective organizations to develop a unique playoff system of their design.
A lot of work and discussion has gone into this event, and we still have some follow-throughs to sort out to ensure its success.
The RIYLL Board acknowledges that there are opportunities for Club players to play in club games and tournaments throughout the season. We are aware that a few Club tournaments are scheduled for the day of our final’s week. This is not a new conflict. We strive to provide the most amount of lacrosse for the majority of our participants each year and will continue with that agenda.
The weekend is coming together with food trucks, music, and an array of activities for our participants to ensure a fun and memorable weekend. With that said, volunteers will be needed to run score clocks, field marshal, tent check-in station, and field setups. We ask that each participating organization provide at least 3 volunteers to assist with our RIYLL Championship Weekend. Your Town presidents are standing by to hear.
